Jinxys Op day

Well today was my fur babies operation. My poor grey bubba boo kitty was going to have her bits removed so i dont have kittens. As beauti ful as my cat is i CANT handle kittens right now seriously. So off miss jinxy went to the spca to have her op. That also meant no brekkie this morning so she let me know VERY clearly that she was not happy.

She had a vet check while she was there too. Look at all those awesome ticks on the form. Good ears, no fleas, good eyes. Yea my kitty is awesome

This was the first time ryan was on this chair. He kept putting a peg up on the chair so his Dad picked him up and put him on the chair. He looked like a dear in headlights for awhile till he suddenly looked happy at being up there. Ryan the big boy <3

This is what Ryan had for his "snack" today. Bacon!!! He loved it, sucked on it for awhile and then started tearing through it like a hungry lion lol. He finished off a huge piece and then had a Mandarin as usual. today ryan has eaten 4 Mandarins. He thinks they are just awesome. Bounces up and down in his chair when i bring him one. I also make a point of counting out the pieces which ryan thinks is awesome.

This odd toy contraption we have been calling Spyro. I was 100% sure it was a spyro. It looks like a spyro, with wings but kinda like a donkey. But no i was mistaken, it is infact a Donkagon. Donkey x dragon like in Shrek. Meh shhh will keep telling Ryan its spyro, i reckon that sounds cooler than a donkagon.

Today Ryan played with anything with wheels. i got out his cars and trucks and anything that he could push and he spent some of the afternoon while Dad was out with jinx pushing them around on the floor saying "Brrrrrrrrrrmmmm". He picked that up at Daycare from a 3 year old. Along with some other stuff that Im not so keen on.

We tried a new routine today with ryan that my friend Sharlene helped me try. Ryan got his 2 sleeps cut down to 1 and had no more naps after 1. This is him starting to get tired at about 4pm. We had some quiet time cuddling on the couch watching the wiggles. And has anyone noticed that the new wiggles guy "sam" is rather yummy?? :P

We have a storm coming from tonight till Thursday evening. It was yucky and grey, raining hard out but my camera wasnt good enough to capture the rain

Ryan wasnt happy that i wouldnt let him outside to play. This was just after i took the photo of the weather and my child is looking at me asking me if he can go play outside?? Hehe yea not likely sunshine.

This is my Cat Alley. She was patiently waiting for Jinx to come home all day lying on the couch. Good girl put up with Ryan smacking her and pulling her ear. Usually jinx cops it but not being there Ryan set his sights on my older cat. Shes a lovely girl tho

Jinx finally came home. She was freeked out for awhile and ran around the house a bit confused. But the medication wore off and she stopped being convinced that the little green men were chasing her. She was a bit wasted from the drugs they gave her to put her to sleep.

As i write this my lil girl is lying under my table sleeping. Im glad she got this operation finally it took long enough for her to get a appointment. Thanks SPCA for the free desexing :)))

Ive decided everyday i blog to put a Recipe from my vast collection of recipes i have collected over the years. i hope they serve everyone as well as they did me.

Ginger crunch

 250g butter, 250g sugar, 400g flour,2t ground ginger,2t BP,melt butter add to sugar and dry ingre , press into a greased roasting tray and bake 180* till golden . While base is cooking in a pot put 8T butter,16T icing sugar,2 (big)T golden syrup,4t ginger , heat until melted and pour over cake while hot , cut while warm.
