A me moment

Sometimes, not all the time haha, but sometimes i like to have a blog that revolves around me, well not exactly revolves but talks about something other than what my little man is up to. im sure when he reads back on this he will want to know what Mum was like when he was 2. I only have one memory from when i was 2 lol.

So after being stuck inside for most of the summer because of this rash i had on my face i was too embarrased to go out, i decided that as a congrats to myself for giving up smoking as im still finding it hard to buy some make up.

There is a group on Facebook run by a really lovely lady who sells Makeup like L'Oreal, Maybelline, Revlon etc. And so i have splurged on some makeup lately and been wearing it 6 days a week with 1 day break for my face to recover lol.

Unfortunately because i choose to do a 3 layer eyeshadow like the photo below and use also Concealer, under eye brightener, powder foundation and then some liquid foundation, mascara, lipstainer it can take up to 20mins. Still wonder why i do it, but it does make me feel a bit better about myself. Since gaining weight ive been making more effort on my appearance. to the people who dont know what a 3 layer eyeshadow look, looks like here ya go

So happy as in my little world of lots of makeup was good. Then im out at the warehouse one day with Mark and he comes across OPI nailpolish called Pink Shatter. This is what it looks like, it usually costs more than $10. Online you are looking at more likely $15-20

And here are my 2 attempts so far

This is a gold base with the pink shatter on top and then a clear polish, leaving 10min between each application, so something you have to do at night lol when your kiddies in bed,

This one i think doesnt look so good, i think light shadows need to be used underneath the pink shatter. this is a purple undertone.

So thats my life at the moment, oh and the exciting news. My dog is getting neutered tomorrow. YAY no more entire Dog. I reckon everybody should do to the SPCA and adopt. And before you say well how much did you pay for him/ I didnt, he is a rescue.

Lol it was terrible weather that day and he had to go to the toilet when he came in I dried him off and wrapped him in a blanket and this is what he looked like. Hope you get through this with no complications my second baby.
