My little Trooper

Well after bragging on a page on Facebook that my darling never gets sick, fate struck our household and my baby got sick. He has been coping real well though. Apart from a little more clingy than usual, fine by me, and a little grumpy my little man has kept his smile on his face.

He was quite intent of ringing Mimi that morning on the phone. Even though he had spoken to her on Skype he still wanted to ring her on his fake phone. He has 2 of these lol.

Of course involving Alley our cat in the activity had to be done too, along with poking her in the eye as she wasnt doing as she was told. Luckily for Ryan the cat is so docile and will just put up with whatever he does to her. Patiently waiting till I spot Ryan and ask him to stop.

Lucky lucky Ryan got a Tv day. He was quite happy to spend most of his day pottering around playing with his toys and occasionally taking a break to watch some Tv. Most days he runs around the a huricane, but when i left the room and he didnt follow i came back to find him like this infront of the tv watching the Wotwots. Eating still was no problem to Ryan even while sick. He was quite content to polish off his Honey Sandwhich and crackers, fruit, and a iceblock.

In the afternoon I had to go out to go do my part for New Zealand and vote. It was the first time i had done it and I was quite worried it would be a hard process, but it was simple as could be. Ryan was more than happy to come along and took every oppurtunity to say hello to everyone at the voting location, even got himself his own sticker saying he had voted. Of course he hadnt, but the lady found him cute and wanted to give him a sticker

Finally managed to get home, didnt take as long as i thought it would and Ryan had dinner and a bath. His favourite activity in the bath at the moment is brushing his teeth. He will sit in the bath and yell "teeth please" at me. Usually we tidy up the toys first and then after ryan will brush his teeth as otherwise he will brush his bath toys teeth too and the whole process can take awhile.

After bath it was bedtime. Ryan decided about an hour later to take a poo in his pants so it was up again to get it changed as he wouldnt go to sleep with a dirty nappy (dont blame him), and after that was done followed by a quick cuddle with mum my little boy drifted into sleepy land.
