Climbing monkey

Well Ryan was feeling much better today. He never seems to get hit hard as yet with colds and flus. Some pamol is required if he gets sore or overly grumpy at feeling snotty with a fever, but apart from that as mentioned before my little trooper sails through. Mummy is proud of you my little baby.

Today was a gorgeous day but we had a quiet morning as I wanted Ryan to have a nap before we went out for a walk in the afternoon. Mostly Ryan wakes up quite happy but today he decided to wake up yelling at the top of his voice trying to tell me something obviously chronically important. This is what i found when i went in to find out what the matter was.

Stars. Yup stars is what he was trying to tell me to turn on from him after waking up. Had to explain to him while of course taking photos that there are no stars during the daytime only at night. This is the look i got.

A couple of weeks ago we went to find some plants for our front porch. Last year we used the veggie garden but as we are still looking at moving all the plants went in Pots. We got capsicum, some herbs, strawberries, cucumber, salads, and even have some flowers left over from last year which have started flowering.

Ryan spent most of the day till we went out for a walk climbing chairs. He discovered that he can now do that without falling off. Its taken him some time to get his confidence. Hes a very cautious boy always has been, but with encouragement from me and lots of "YAY!" Ryan got his confidence and that was great fun for him and me to see him so proud of himself.

Lids were also a topic of great interest today, we managed to find at least 10 different kinds of lids around the house for Ryan to play with but for some reason he kept going back to this one. Its the top of his Watering can.

After having a very active day however of course there will sometimes be issues. Ryan was told he wasnt allowed lollies instead of dinner. Another new word he loooooves saying at the moment, so this is what resulted from it. Probably not one of his impressive tantrums but I still thought id save it for the record. Im sure when hes older Ryan would also like to laugh at his outburts.

A scratch on his nose which he inflicted on himself a couple of days prior because i was trying to clean his face. He waved his hands around trying to bat me off and instead got himself in the face. Im pretty sure when he did that though his pride was more hurt than his nose.
