Well i finally decided to get my hair done. Since Ryan was born i hadnt been to the hairdresser once and I really needed a pick me up to make me feel more like me and not a tired Mummy.
It was with a different hairdresser than i normally go to. Usually i go to rodney wayne but they quoted me an completly outrageous price for what I wanted so sadly it was no go. This place was real small and in the main shopping area of Whangarei. We actually dont have a mall, just this pathetic part of town we call the Arcade. Anyway i was a bit hesistant when i got there, there was nobody else there and it just looked so deserted.
I got served straight away which was awesome and the lady just seemed to read my mind as to what i wanted. Top head of blonde foils, blend it in, get the old hair dye out of my hair, trim my hair, layer it and give it a good treatment. I loved it and this was the result. Ryan had daycare today, but when he came home we played a new game with some new flash cards. 9 cards with different animals on them. Octopus, Cat, dog, etc. He will try and name them each and then we make the noise the animal makes together. I did struggle making a sound a octopus makes lol. What noise do they make????
Still a bit wound up after the day I put Ryan on the couch and let him watch the program Diego on nick junior, he sat with his thumb in his mouth like a zombie so it wasnt long before he went to bed.
