Wow Christmas time is busy with a nearly 2 year old

Parties at daycare, presents overtaking the whole spare room, tons from his Mimi and Papi (my parents) and Ive been buying over the year so we have a lot of stuff. One of the latest things i got is this:

It will go with his workbench from santa. You know who you are. ;) ;) ryan also got some secret santa presents which i think he will be wrapped with, especially the sticky ball, when he realises it sticks its gonna be all duck ryan is learning to throw lol.

That day i decided to make some Lemon and Chocolate Muffins and I asked Ryan if he wanted to help and got a very clear no. so I asked him if he wanted to draw and got a yesssss so i got him his new table and a pen and some paper and let him go for it.

It was a really hot day that day so I decided to let Ryan run around in a nappy, he then got stuck infront of the  TV watching the wiggles his favorite show, but he does really like wearing my slippers so was more than content to wear them while watching.

Ryan is a very enthusiastic reader, loves books, is quite happy reading to himself but of course also likes having people read to him. He didnt used to be able to sit through a whole book but now can quite happily sit through 2 sometimes even 3, and he will carry piles around with him, not just one so he can switch between what hes reading. Sometimes he reads upside down so i just tell him its upside down and turn it for him and he bursts into laughter at himself.

I finally got the guts and met up with a girl who i had been chatting to on Fb for about a year. She used to live in Ruakaka but then moved up to Whangarei and after a couple of months of chatting more often we decided to meet up. We wanted to go to Harvey Norman to go see Santa, it was a huge walk, quite an effort, but I am trying to lose weight so it was good for me. Sadly when we got there my friends' ex partner had gotten the date wrong and turned out santa wasnt there that day. Grr dammit! So Alesha, her son Mike and Ryan and I went and had some lunch instead.

And this is Ryans new friend Mike:

Ryan is getting much more intelligent with his play. He copies me on his own keyboard when im on the computer instead of bashing it and standing on it like he used to. Guess it must of felt good on his feet.

I also got out his ball that he used to love playing with but got bored of for him to play with again, and instead of like last time when all he did was throw it around and my god it made a lot of noise, Now he acutallly opens and closes the ball and plays with the stuff inside.
