Despite Mark having to work, we managed to get quite a lot done this Easter and its been a lovely time. Ive had loads and i mean loads of parcels arrive with makeup in that i have bought thanks to a certain makeup group on FB who has fed my addiction. Or is that just my excuse...anyway going off topic here. The Male got a new monitor..well not new, it was second hand, but a bigger size than our old one which was definitely in need of a change as it was being held up by a make shift device haha.
In top of that on Easter Monday we went and saw my Parents who Ryan calles "Mami and Papi". They after retiring from their jobs in Switzerland have finally moved over here and decided to buy a house in Keri-Keri. It is at least a hour and a half drive from us, but the route is beautiful.
We got to stop in a little town called Kawakawa which has trains. Mister 4 adores trains, his life is complete playing with his Thomas Train set at home so we though we would spoil him.
Off to see my parents who took us out to lunch at a Golf Club. It was lovely, had a great play area for children, PIGS (which if you read my blog you know i LOVE!) and good food.
We all had some lunch, Burgers, a lunch breakfast meal for my Dad, and Butter Chicken for my Mum. Then ended it with a delicious lemon cake with icing shown below by Ryan.
Ahhh the moments of family life, wouldnt Trade it in for the world, but just had nearly a 2 hour wait between what ive wrtitten above and what im writing now. Busy and i only have 1. I wonder what 2 would add to the pot?
Anyway I took some photos at my parents house, its beautiful, they have worked hard for this lifestyle and they deserve every little bit of this place. Even though its huge and i love it haha.
We got treated to a visit to the Parrot Palace by my parents as well. It was beautiful. A lot of the birds got on our shoulders, my Dad got nipped by one who wasnt sure it it loved my Dad or hated him. I had one bird gaze adoringly into my eyes, it was unique. We even got to walk through an actual aviary with birds next to us. I love the close on - on experience, its special and something Ryan will hopefully remember. It also gave his Mami and Papi quality time to spend with their Grandson.
Right, we have a tradition in this house, between the male and I. We watch WWE Wrestling, wednesday night and Sunday night
Heres the link if you are interested haha, its like a male soap opera
Thanks for reading
