Small homemade flash cards

Well today I made some flash cards for Ryan. I got the idea from the Toddler Toddler Website. It was real easy to do and have made myself a pledge that Ryan and I will do at least one a day. That way we keep the blog intersting and also have some fun together. He really does enjoy himself when he plays with me.

He played so well and kept coming back to tell me things about the cards and the numbers on them. The numbers were only 1-4 but he seems to be enjoying himself and also seems to take the fascination off from the number 4.

Ryan also loves buckles at the moment. He plays with the one from his Chair as he doesnt need a belt to be in his chair anymore. He will close it and then ask me to open it again as he doesnt have the strength. He is real good at closing it though, doesnt take him long at all. And once hes done that a big YAY!! If he doesnt put it together right he says it "stuck".

Snack after that. Cheese, crackers and a Anzac Biscuit. This morning we spent half the day in our pjs. I usually like to get up early and get ready but today it wasnt going to happen.

Finally we got dressed and Ryan spent some time with his Dad playing with his chair and his Horsey. He now has enough confidence to sit on the horse and rock back and foward. He used to be too scared of it, but now hes loving it. So thankyou to Aunty Jan

Later in the afternoon when we had been for a walk I decided that Ryan and I, the cat and the dog should go outside and enjoy the beautiful day. The sun wasnt so strong anymore so Ryan quite happily played out there till it was time for him to come inside to have dinner.
